Anton Parente Varela

Anton is a talented and versatile Spanish midfielder. He has been part of the Spanish senior international training squad and has represented Spain at U16, U18 and U21 levels, including at the Junior World Cup and European Championships.

Anton has played elite hockey in the top divisions of both Spain and England. In Spain, with Club de Campo Villa de Madrid, he participated in Europe’s top club tournament, the EHL, reaching the quarter-finals. In 2012/13 he won the ‘Young Talent’ award as the best U23 player in Spain’s first division.

Anton’s multi-national playing experience makes him ideally suited to EVO Hockey and we are delighted to welcome him as part of our team.
