Jamie Cachia
Jamie is EVO Hockey’s Head of Goalkeeping and Residential Camps Director. He is an exceptional technical coach. He is a specialist goalkeeper coach but equally adept working with both goalkeepers and outfielders.
Jamie represented Scotland as a goalkeeper, winning 50 caps for his country and playing in two Commonwealth Games (Delhi 2010 and Glasgow 2014).
As a coach, Jamie embraces a creative, attacking philosophy. He is currently a High Performance Coach at the University of Durham, where he co-ordinates a full-time program for men’s and women’s performance athletes. Previously as Head Coach of University of Nottingham Men’s 1st XI, he was instrumental in developing a side that got promoted into the England Hockey national league and then won the national league North Conference.
Jamie is extremely passionate and dedicated to developing youth hockey players; an asset to the EVO Hockey team.
