Young player focus: Isla MacInnes

EVO young star GK Isla MacInnes with the Fjordhus Reivers

You may recall our news item last year about EVO Hockey camp athlete Isla MacInnes. We are pleased to be able to bring news of her further success!

Isla is a Scottish goalkeeper who attended our October 2015 launch camp. She benefitted from expert coaching from the EVO team, including TWO Great Britain keepers - Maddie Hinch and Kirsty Mackay.

At the end of last year her team Fjordhus Reivers made the semi final of the U18 Scottish Cup. This Wednesday they made the final! A hard fought game ended in a 2 all draw, coming down to sudden death penalty flicks. Isla kept her composure helping her team to secure this important win. Amazing work!
