Surbiton U16 Champions: our EVO experience
We have previously congratulated Steph and Taylor Weber, who recently became England Hockey Under 16 club champions with Surbiton HC. Steph and Taylor have been working with EVO Hockey since we founded in 2015 and we are delighted to see their continued development and success.
Steph spoke to EVO about the benefits of the camps in developing her potential as a high performance junior player, while Taylor explained what inspired her in her performances:
“Working on specific skills with internationals at EVO camps has really helped me improve my game. It’s these extra bits that make a difference.”
“The Q and A sessions at EVO have been the most inspiring for me. I love listening to all the internationals talk about their lives and their experiences at the Olympic Games.”
Steph and Taylor have both benefitted from high performance coaching with EVO, including one-to-one training with Germany international co-captain Janne Müller-Wieland.
