EVO Coaches win GOLD at Rio 2016!
We would like to say HUGE CONGRATULATIONS to EVO coaches Maddie Hinch, Susannah Townsend and Janne Müller-Wieland on their fantastic Olympic achievements at Rio 2016.
Janne was captain of the Germany ladies team and won a fantastic bronze medal in Rio (or, as she described it, "dirty gold")! Maddie and Susannah were both instrumental in Team GB's phenomenal Olympic run - 8 wins from 8 - culminating in them winning GOLD for Great Britain, after a penalty shuttles win over the Netherlands in the final.
Janne, Susannah and Maddie have been with EVO Hockey from the beginning and coached at our very first camp, in 2015. It is a pleasure to know, work with and support these tremendous athletes. They will be playing their club hockey in the forthcoming season in the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany respectively.
