EVO partners with Bishop's Stortford Hockey Club

EVO Hockey is delighted to announce a new partnership with Bishop's Stortford Hockey Club, commencing this summer!

The partnership will see the club supporting EVO Hockey with the provision of facilities to deliver our innovative, world-class hockey coaching for ALL YOUTH PLAYERS in the Hertfordshire and Essex regions.

Our hockey camps will be delivered during school holidays, through use of the club's fantastic facilities at Hockerill Anglo-European College, with the first camps in August 2018. EVO will also support the  club to develop its youth coaching infrastructure with coach education and development advice. 

This partnership comes at an exciting time, with Bishop's Stortford Hockey Club one of the fastest growing clubs in the country. It has developed a thriving junior section with over 500 members and was shortlisted for the England Hockey Notts Sport Club of the Year last season. The club has a close association with local schools and its development plans include an exciting second astroturf pitch facility within the next two years. While supported by Bishop's Stortford Hockey Club within the region, all EVO Hockey camps are open to ALL YOUTH PLAYERS aged 7-17 years. We have specialist coaching for outfielders and goalkeepers at all camps. The aim is to provide access to world-class, creative hockey coaching for all players, regardless of club or school, and to raise participation in hockey and playing / coaching standards across the board. Bishop's Stortford HC's ethos of inclusive hockey delivery makes it a great partner in this regard and we look forward to the growth of this platform for junior hockey coaching over the next few years.
