EVO Hockey are delighted to confirm our ongoing partnership with Hockey Inner City.

A community interest company (‘CIC’), HIC was founded by EVO ambassador & Great Britain international hockey player Rhys Smith ,in order to expand hockey provision into inner city environments and increase participation in the sport among the BAME (black, asian and minor ethnicity) communities.

As part of our support for the HIC initiative, we provided free places for every player in the HIC group at our February 2020 Reigate Hockey Camp, in order to experience working with the world’s top players.

A number of HIC players have received EVO Hockey scholarships, entitling them to free camp places for 1 year.

During the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, we have been happy to offer an additional 10 scholarship places for HIC players to attend the EVO Online Global Players Academy - hockey at home, taught by the world’s best players.

We are extremely proud to continue to support this fantastic initiative to increase access to hockey and broaden the playing base of the hockey community.
